5K Run & Walk
Fish Boning Competition
Fish boning like you’ve never seen it before! Witness the experts from Oistins clean a fish in record time to see who’s the fastest and best at boning fish.
Dolphin Skinning Competition
Witness the mastery and skill of skinning a dolphin in record time; if you can! Don’t blink as pros from the fishing community compete to see who can skin a dolphin the fastest.
Farmer’s Choice Nugget Eating Competition
How much nuggets can you eat in record time? Test your skills in the Farmer’s Choice Nugget Eating Competition!
Festival 5k
The Festival 5k is back this year under the theme ‘Catch de Culture.’ Run or walk the course in and around scenic Oistins. Whether setting a PR, meeting training goals for a race or just in it for the fun, the Festival 5k is a must for you! See you there!
Egg and Spoon Marathon
Test your skills and balance and race to the finish while keeping your egg on the spoon! Relive the childhood fun of this exciting race on the streets of Oistins!
Heritage Sunset Stroll
Take a stroll through Oistins and experience the heritage told by expert historians. Come prepared with your walking shoes and bottled water, curiosity and thirst for knowledge and prepare to see Oistins through the lens of its amazing history.
Sip, Paint and Jazz!
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon with art by the sea to the soothing sound of Caribbean Jazz, while sipping on smooth cocktails.
Easter Bonnet Parade and Competition
In honour of former committee member Dionna Browne-Findlay, this festival staple event celebrates the creativity of our children at Easter, and is a follow on from our Easter Bonnet Workshop held earlier in the month. Come out and support the children as they display their handiwork, keeping the skill of bonnet-making alive.
Easter Egg Hunt
Come for the fun of the Easter Egg Hunt during the Oistins Fish Festival! Join the excitement of hunting for eggs around Oistins in this fun family event!
Greasy Pole Competition
In this staple of the Oistins Fish Festival, teams from the community see who can make it to the top of greasy pole the fastest.
Sea Tuh Stove
This unique event takes participants through the process of preparing fresh catch with a local fish market vendor to preparing a delicious fish dish with a chef on site.
Strong Man Boat Pull
Do you think you have what it takes to pull a boat in from the water? This skill has been part of fisherfolk culture for as long as there has been fishing.
Net Throwing WORKSHOP
Try your hand at learning the historic practice of net throwing from local practitioners.
Pan Riddim in de Bay
Enjoy the rhythm of sweet steel pan from talented school orchestras from around the island.
Heritage Sunset Stroll
Take a stroll through historic Oistins with some of the nations top historians. Learn about the people and places that make Oistins what it is today on this scenic sunset stroll.
